Matt Hales at Norwich Shoe Factory May 2021.  I was lucky enough to have a week long residency at the Factory, which is a redundant shoe factory in Norwich. Until it’s sold for redevelopment it’s being used as an art space. 

During my residency I created several pieces of work, I felt really inspired by the space and had an urge to make make make. Part of my time there included getting Matt in for a couple of hours to grab some portraits and just play within our surroundings. I’ve photographed Matt once a year since 2017. We haven’t managed a shoot this year yet though…
